The Buying Process
Steps to Purchase
-
Pre Approval
It all begins with choosing a lender to help evaluate your spending limits and loan types available tp you.
-
Selecting Representation
Next selecting a real estate agent to represent and advise you through the touring, selecting, and closing of the home of your choice.
-
Getting under contract
Writing offers on potential homes will be the time to consult your agent, and write an offer that falls in line with your goals. Once a contract is accepted your agent will walk you through the next steps.
-
Inspection
This is an important time to check the condition of a home. This can be required by a lender, but it is always wise to do an inspection even if not necessary for your financing.
-
Appraisal
The lender will order an appraisal to check that an accurate value is being paid for the home. The home in the current area and market must meet the price of the offer.
-
Closing
At closing you will sign and review all the paperwork that goes along with owning a home. Your agent will be there to make sure all paperwork is in order. Then you will receive the keys to your new home, and can begin the move in process.
